The Staff

We believe that one of the key strengths of Blackboys Pre-School is the quality of care offered by our staff. We are lucky to have an excellent team, all of whom are committed to achieving the highest possible standards for each and every child:

Jenny Novkovic  (Manager/NVQ 4/SENCO/Behaviour Manager)
Jenny has been working in childcare since 1994, having worked in Nursery schools, other Pre-Schools and as a Classroom assistant. She became Manager in 2008. As a trained musician, she is responsible for music and movement classes.

Emma Harmar  (Deputy Manager & Safe Guarding Lead /NVQ 4/SENCO)
Emma joined the Pre-School in 2006 and deputises for the Manager.

Katy Novkovic  (Pre-School Assistant/ After School Club Coordinator /Heath and Safety Officer NVQ 3, Forest school)
Katy has worked in childcare since 2009 and has worked in both Early Years and Playwork. She joined the Pre-School in 2011 and is responsible for IT and Forest School activities .

Abigail Smith (NVQ Level 2 Childcare)
Abigail joined the Pre-School in 2015 as an Apprentice and has recently achieved her Level 2 Childcare certificate. She also works in the After School club and the Holiday clubs and is responsible for the welfare of the Pre-School animals.

Maisi Nash (NVQ Level 2 Childcare/Safeguarding Lead)

Maisi joined the Pre-School in July 2016 and also works in the After School club and Holidays clubs, as well as helping out with school pick ups.

Sandie Smith  (After School Assistant)

Sandie started at the Pre-School in 2015 and works in the After School club and Holiday clubs, as well as helping out with school pick ups.

Suzanne Hammond (Administrator)

Suzanne joined the Pre-School in January 2017 and supports the staff by sorting out relevant paperwork to further enable the smooth and efficient running of the setting.

Jane Jenkins   (Bank Staff)

As a former Pre-school practitioner, she helps out on a part time basis as bank staff.

Bethany Wright  (Bank Staff)

As a present parent, she helps out on a part time basis.
